Continuing to support craftsmanship and to pursue quality and beauty: we’ve created our community-use filtering facemasks guided by the same enduring values.

The idea of launching our own line of handcrafted facemasks came when we asked ourselves what, as a Made-in-Italy fashion accessories brand, we could do to meet a new requirement that could no longer be ignored; it was born from the need to protect ourselves and from the desire to preserve and spread once again the values of quality and beauty in what we wear.

So we decided to convert the production of Brucle bow ties, ties and pocket squares into facial protection devices that would also satisfy other spheres, such as aesthetics.

We did it with the same attention and precision we apply to every other accessory: materials first and foremost, selecting those that combine protection with quality, comfort with beauty. That’s why we crafted our masks in fine silk with one or two inner layers of nonwoven fabric (TNT Spunbond), the polypropylene designed to limit droplets. The fabrics, as always, are certified, hypoallergenic and of the highest quality. Three adjustable pleats conform to the shape of your face to cover nose and mouth perfectly, and round ear loops make them extra comfortable to wear. And then the patterns—which must never be missing on our faces, especially at a time like this: the most beautiful designs, elegant, playful, and, of course, plain colours.

Another fundamental aspect for us is minimizing environmental impact. Our masks are washable and reusable many times over, and if you follow the washing and sanitization instructions, they guarantee a long service life.

Please note these are not PPE and are not CE-certified, but they are fully compliant with the Italian Ministry of Health Circular 003572-P-18/03/2020. Together with key protective measures like social distancing, they help make interactions safer without giving up the highest values of Italian craftsmanship.
